Savage!

I tend to agree with the reviews I saw about this telefilm. I found it pretty boring.

I'm a sucker for political drama and thrillers, but the way the exposition is layed out and paid off is pretty lackluster. The concept of the story could be fun: beautiful women getting used for political influence / blackmail purposes. But it ends up falling flat because the dive into the 1970s political process doesn't offer much clarity or insight that people don't already know. The thriller part of the movie failed to make me care much about mystery. The actors are all quite good and despite a few ADR issues, manage to carry the movie a little bit. The cinematography is pretty bland except for the climax which is admittedly quite enjoyable.

Overall forgettable movie with a couple interesting ideas here and there.

I love YouTube so much. Say what you want about the content people usually watch on there but it’s such a good tool to find old forgotten media like this. 

I also found the Columbo episode on this website! So I’m all set to finish Spielbergs filmography. 

About this:
Not much to say.. the cast is pretty stacked and I found it watchable, it’s not great but not really offensively bad neither. Not exactly immersed but I think the camerawork was surprisingly good and the pacing wasn’t awful.
