What doesn’t help the film is its projection as a horror film. I know that the director initially wanted to promote it as a romantic film and then shock the audience and I believe that this would work a thousand times better. Fuck the company! Waiting for something shocking that really exists but comes in the last half hour not generally prevailing throughout the film nullifies its really interesting plot. Personally, I really liked the slow development as well as the mysterious atmosphere that prevailed. I also enjoyed the characters that were very well written.
