wow what a good movie. i love the plot, cinematography, and casts!! twist after twist, i love it. they're so good i wanna cry
ugh i hate the he fei so much. i knew he isn't innocent, i knew something's off with him from the start. also shen man (lawyer), i got a hunch that she may be the bestfriend bcs its so weird how she seems so interested or helpful with the case (regardless if she's the lawyer). though, i didn't realized that they all know each other. grr the police officer is also a part, why didn't i even suspect him? LOL i rlly thought that their enemy is a real syndicate
also, this is what you get when you become addicted to gambling. nothing makes sense anymore to the point that murdering even your own wife and plotting how to get her money doesn't question your morals.
it's just so sad but meaningful how the wife died with her unborn child see the starry wife she loved. that scene is so symbolic. and the ending? i rlly think even though he knew she's pregnant, he won't care. he isn't guilty at all with what he did; he's angry bcs he got caught and is now in prison.
