This was lowkey fun but it had absolutely no reason being 3 hours long. Marlon Brando’s acting was good as always particularly after the mutiny happened I could feel his distress and regret when he realized that he’ll never be able to go back to his country and live his life as normal again, but that accent was so silly I couldn’t take him seriously. Cinematography was so pretty especially the storm scenes in the middle of the ocean.

It’s pretty long and slow paced but it’s not bad. Filmed on 70 mm makes it very beautiful to look at. I haven’t seen the original one but by itself it’s good.
