It’s crazy that as a huge movie guy, this was my first ever full watch of this absolute masterpiece. see why this is an all time classic and rightfully deserves to be a top 100 movie of all time. The acting, chefs kiss, it’s immaculate. The sets are phenomenal. The story is very engaging, it’s almost a 3 hour movie yet it feels like it flies by and you’re just sitting there wanting more. It’s both dark and gritty, you can genuinely see a person lose everything from his life after gaining so much yet he still was unsatisfied. I loved it. There’s so many iconic scenes and lines from this film, it still has a huge cultural prevalence to this day which is crazy especially since this movie is over 40 years old. I would put it higher on my list but I subtracted points on the spray and pray style of gun fighting especially prevalent at the end. You wouldn’t hit water if you fell out of a boat if you did that, it looks cool though, also sometimes the dialogue can be a tad ticky tacky and cliche but it’s pretty minimal so I don’t really count it. I’m definitely watching again. Say allo to my little friend!!!
