Great filmmakers need to stop dying in January.. like wtf??? Rest in peace to one of the most talented and unique filmmakers to ever grace the planet. I think about The Turin Horse and Satantango at least once a week, because it literally changed my perception on cinema and what can be established through this medium. An icon in austere and esoteric filmmaking!

Not a single word was spoken, yet I felt every second of it.
Béla Tarr is one of the few who can make a five-minute short film feel endlessly long—in the best possible way. I also loved how the credits enrich the work; seeing all those names in just a few minutes is simply monumental. And I must highlight the incredible score by Mihály Víg.
A marvelous short film and without a doubt, his best.
