i’ll always be sat for a 2000s comedy with lindsay lohan, always just super weirdly comforting
seeing its abysmal rotten tomatoes score: i knew id enjoy this (because honestly, that entire platform lacks taste especially the critic side) this movie is just fun, like sure it isn’t the best… but cmon 14%? it’s a fun, campy and oozing with 2000s nostalgia. really amazing fashion, everything is super colourful/over-the-top, lindsay lohan is charismatic as always, and has some great comedic timing, plus megan fox as the mean girl was also super fun. while the plot is a lot of fun, the reason i couldn’t give it any higher is just because it kinda failed to connect to me any deeper than simply surface level. it’s a decent 00s coming of age movie that seems like a perfect no-brainer, or something you could just put on for simple enjoyment. (also, i watched this ages ago i just completely forgot to log it lmao)
