❝It feels like it was just yesterday. We played music. We danced. Oh, what a time we had.❞

Despite some heavy hitters in the cast, The Uninvited is, unfortunately, bland and dreary. What starts off as a typical comedy devolves into an attempt at being emotional that falls really, really short of being sad or thought-provoking, and in turn the relatively short hour and a half run-time feels like an eternity. Walton Goggins and Lois Smith give the best performances here, but ultimately not enough to save the film; unless you're a massive fan of any of the cast, I'm not sure it's worth watching this.
