A lawless poacher wants to capture a majestic and rare golden eagle, so he kidnaps the boy who knows where to find the bird. Not to worry -- the Rescue Aid Society's top agents, heroic mice Miss Bianca and Bernard, fly to Australia to save the day. Accompanying the fearless duo are bumbling albatross Wilbur and local field operative Jake the Kangaroo Rat.

The Rescuers Down Under

This movie has haunted me since I first watched it on VHS at my Grandparents house when I was a very young child. I have had recurring nightmares of the villain of this movie and his fuckass lizard ever since then and I hate him so much.
Besides that pretty good movie.

I think that I prefer this one slightly more, probably because it's bright, colourful, and set in Australia and not dark and dingey Louisiana.

Also, Jake is hot, no further comment.

Bernard and Bianca’s relationship definitely takes up a step up from the first one and I think the dialogue as well lets them both shine a little more too

Thankfully the kid is actually a proactive victim and doesn’t just whine the whole time.

I love the coloring and portrayal of the outback and all of its animals
