A beautiful Christian film. I loved the theme that the film had that it is a hope beyond us that we need. Hope in the faith of the God. And this film did a great job displaying that theme. One of the best scene where it did that is when Dr. Harris who was the character foil of Pastor Josiah Grey asked Pastor Grey for his help. This film had many beautiful moments and lines. But my favorite was when Pastor Grey read the “Will of God”. That scene was saw beautiful and it showed how words and the power of God can change even the worst of people like KKK members. The main issue with this film is it started out extremely slow and it felt like there were many scenes in the first half that were not needed and unnecessary. Second half of the film was extremely powerful but the first half was weak. Overall a good film. Would highly recommend.
