robert redford manages to say, fuck it, i’m gonna give the horse girlies what they want and quite literally became one for this.
seriously tho. i was promised a heavy alcoholic rodeo star all strapped in fairy lights figuring out a million dollar horse named rising star was being mistreated, so he proceeds to steal him and take him through vegas, followed by jane fonda as a journalist wanting to put his story out there - leading to a romance blossoming whilst he sets said million dollar horse free into the countryside. and i was promised a dope as fuck soundtrack (willie nelson) and a dope as fuck cameo (willie nelson). and i was promised it’d be entertaining. and i was NOT disappointed.
i loved this movie and would absolutely watch it again. robert redford i loved your magnificent hair. i’d kill to have him (or anybody for that matter) speak to me the same way robert redford spoke about that horse.
