I liked Philippa in Discovery, but she's written slightly differently here and it doesn't quite work. Then again, the whole movie doesn't really work. This is Star Trek's attempt at the tacky trend of having foul-mouthed, hyper-witty, assholes who secretly have hearts. If I wanted to watch a bunch of charming assholes, I'd watch any of Ryan Reynolds' movies.

Easy winner for "Worst Trek Movie", combining the lovely concept of cannibal space tyrant joining the Space CIA on a mission to something something betrayal something something doomsday device, annoying Whedon-esque quips... if your attention span has lasted through this rambling, you may have a chance at surviving Section 31, at least better than I did .
