Ghosts
wish it was fleshed out a bit more, and you'll understand if you watch it. the writing is there but this guys direction isn't all hyped up to as people put it.

Ghosts
2005 | Christian Petzold

“Gespenster” is yet another abstract, moody and melancholic film by Christian Petzold.

He manages to create such an aimless atmosphere and introduces such an interesting yet impossible to grasp group of characters, all traumatized and lost. A film about being haunted by the ghosts of your past, which have an unshakable grasp on you. Which prevent you from forgetting, from changing. A film about the hope for a better future, the wish for a changed past and the end of the status-quo. About wanting people to be someone you wish you had, someone who would make what you have and who you are better - complete, maybe. Someone who would indefinitely change your life.

Not my favorite Petzold, but so good!
