me n harrison were trying to see a movie on tuesday but he had prior commitments to see spiderverse and flash with other people and he had no interest in transformers or elemental lol so it came down to this or adipurush and for some reason this was completely sold out on tuesday? plus I was sort of morbidly curious about adipurush so we saw that and it was bad but our curiosity about this movie was piqued enough that we went the next day and it was quite fun! it’s a very competent little detective thriller very much in the vein of david fincher (there’s like a dozen of those stabilized bird’s eye shots of cars from zodiac lol) cinemark legacy is really the goat for playing Indian movies, both the Bollywood and some Tollywood stuff I’m aware of and stuff from other industries like this- I really know almost nothing about Tamil cinema and I probably never would have seen or heard of this if it weren’t for it playing at legacy so that’s cool, theatrical distribution is cool
