What a grade 3 merit does to a mf
The dream sequence was the highlight for me
If there was a little more world building i think i would've enjoyed it more, kinda felt like we are just plopped straight into a case and there isn’t a huge amount of development around where it is taking place
There is a some character development but it doesn’t amplify the film much
The actual detective work felt minimal which was disappointing 
I feel like this film focuses a ton on the emotional toll police work takes on those involved but forgets to expand on much else. Well made but quite flat as a viewing experience

Aesthetically stunning with beautiful 16MM cinematography & set designs, love the gloomy atmosphere a lot! the plotline is incredibly surreal and pretty hard to follow that leaves many questions after it finishes. some really cool scenes & for sure a film that will need a rewatch.

i’m obsessed with the look of this film, from the cinematography to the 90’s grainy detective aesthetic. story wise i was intrigued and then super confused and then left that way until the movie wrapped. the story, much like the case that’s being investigated, leaves you to believe there’s something more complicated going on until you’re forced to accept that it was simplest solution all along. anticlimactic, but kind of in a good way
