Acting off the walls. Timothy Spall was perfect, sublime, would like him to adopt me. Cannot fathom going into production ready for mostly improv for a movie this emotionally layered, but it was so much better for it. Mike Leigh films are raw and vulnerable and beautiful. 

I can judge a movie sometimes by the emotional release of the smile I’m left with at the end, this was a top tier one of those.
