The script for this short film was screaming for a feature length film.
It’s impossible to care about the lead character’s husband’s death when we’re given little to no context about him. Subsequently, we cannot really connect with her grief.
It’s too abstract for its own good, and sadly its amazing setting and cinematography can’t compensate for that.
