These women are incredibly brave and resilient, seeing them smile despite their situation gives me so much hope in my heart. The girls calling for the end of Taliban had me sobbing, those little warriors...sacrificing their childhood because of men's greed.

utterly tragic and woefully, almost suspiciously, under seen. illuminates cultural practices and the existence of both anti-taliban men and pro-taliban women.
i can’t help but think that the melodramatic, abruptly different intro sequence kinda undercut the rest of the film, and there are a few other moments like this too.
the camera really got in there. some horrifying moments
