I don’t know if I just needed to cry today or if this movie just hits that way, but by the end I was sitting a few feet in front of my TV quietly sobbing. I’m a sucker for simple movies about the “human condition” (for lack of less cheesy phrasing) that, while having sort of fantastical elements, are pretty stripped of flash. It’s an understated movie about love, loss and moving on that speaks to the scabs that heel into scars as we carry on. I really loved this film.
