I Think I was out in this film before I should have been. Sometimes the signs like being a digital only release, with not much publicity, with a premise that was a smart idea but nothing too much more. But, in this case it might have hindered my experience with the film because Lazareth is not just a bleh film. Don't get me wrong there is nothing crazy or amazing, and the wheel is very much not reinvented but it IS a solid 90 minute watch, and a short thought provoker. I think tweaks to the plot and dialogue, as well as the camera work should have been made to elevate the film past decent which is why its a 3 star. However, this film is near the top of the list of films that are counted out that are not bad.
