Definitely better than I Am Legend even if the plagued people are extremely silly. Why wouldn’t they just set the house on fire with like, oil, instead of a ridiculous catapult? Anyway Heston is becoming one of my favorite leads of this era. It’s like discovering real life Troy McLure movies.

Certainly a take on I Am Legend but overall feels kind of weakened and a little too ambivalent for having reconfigured the point of the source material.

So much of this movie gave me tonal dissonance due to the fact the score did not match the tone of the visuals... A bit hammy, but not terrible.
