hellraiser: inferno part 2 the remix but hey lets add kirsty!
we honestly could’ve erased inferno and just had this be the 5th installment but no. i feel like this movie could’ve gotten a more positive review from me but im upset since i feel like my time was wasted from watching a carbon copy of the previous sequel.
i do love kirsty and it’s a “well good for her” moment. I know there is a hellraiser comic and she becomes a cenobite which i wouldve loved to see before kirsty left as a character but i guess it encourages people to imagine what happens after this movie ends.

The more I delve into the Hellraiser franchise, the more afraid I become, not because of its horror but lack thereof. What started as a passable horror film has regressed into a slop of genre affairs designed to keep the machine running for the sake of it.
We follow Trevor (Dean Winters), husband of the original protagonist, Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence). Trevor's wife dies in a car accident, and his world starts to get crazier.
The main problem with every new instalment of the Hellraiser series is that there seems to be no need for new additions. They barely add anything of value or intrigue to it. We all know the beats of this franchise, and Hellseeker hardly makes an effort to steer away.
It also doesn't help that bringing Kirsty back somewhat spoils the plot, as we know her death is nothing more than a ruse and will ultimately be resolved.
It's an utter borefest from the start and only starts to pick up steam during the final act, when most of the audience will probably have checked out. However, the concluding moments do have a clever way of tying things together and include some satisfyingly gory moments that make the film worth watching.
