A Room with a View is a beautiful adaptation of E. M. Forster's novel. Helena Bonham Carter was great as Lucy, but although Julian Sands was well cast as George, their romance came across as slightly forceful (5 stars though for Daniel Day-Lewis's pin-straight posture at all times). The filming locations were absolutely gorgeous, and I really liked the costumes and soundtrack. Overall, this film was definitely a lovely experience.
