Unabashedly quirky, abstract and atonal, this really feels like the filmic equivalent of that strain of '90s weirdo noise rock groups that just hammered their guitars to destruction. It's as if Trumans Water, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Arab on Radar AND U.S. Maple all got together, threw their instruments out the window, and made a Troma-inspired flick, and my GOD it's an absolute headache. Love God defies explanation. A mindmelting avant-garde gross-out body horror comedy that runs not on dream logic, but nightmare logic. Was it an enjoyable experience? No, not really. Have I seen anything like it? No, not really.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Trumans Water's 'Aroma of Gina Arnold' and U.S. Maple's 'Letter to ZZ Top' are two of the all-time great rock songs and NO ONE can tell me otherwise.
