This movie is so painfully awful that it rounds into being fucking hilarious because of how bad it is. 

I went in with bottom of the barrel expectations and I was still disappointed. I went in expecting a dumb fun plane disaster movie that transitions into an equally dumb and fun shark movie but this movie isn’t fun, it’s painfully bad across the board. 

This movie takes itself way too seriously and the line deliveries are so atrocious I couldn’t help but to break out into laughter. 

The CGI is unbelievably bad across the board. 

This film also tries way too hard to build big emotional moments within the film with the characters but it falls completely flat and fails because the writing is awful and you don’t learn a single interesting thing about any of these characters. 

Like there are moments where it thinks it’s creating a big emotional moment with sad music and all but it’s just awkward and bad.

As if a plane crash movie wasn't traumatic enough, they had to throw sharks in there too. Exactly what I expected from it, it reminds me of '90s disaster movies, and anything that gives me that feeling is automatically a positive because those are a favorite sub-genre of mine.

Unfortunately, this is just another predictable shark movie for me. This didn't feel special and just adds to most of the other shark movies out there. I have to say, though, the acting was very good. Unfortunately, the other parts weren't very good. I feel like some parts didn't add up and some things weren't explained, which leaves you with questions. So overall, this wasn't the worst of all the shark movies, but it definitely wasn't a strong one in my opinion.

Chat no more flying for me. Man was this surprisingly incredible. The film was intense from start to finish, a ton of action, super emotional, I teared up at least 4 different times oh my it was deep, and it had such a cool disaster plot it was hard to guess where it was going next. The characters themselves all had unique backgrounds which upped the emotion to a different level, while some were cliche, it was still so fun to watch. The plot showcases a place crash in the middle of the ocean, and the hours before possible rescue. It was simple, plane crashes nobody knows what to do movie but it was incredibly amusing. The acting was also pretty good I would say, Aaron Eckhart led the way with a great performance, but it was a very well-rounded cast. It definitely felt like a 2026 film with the cinematography and some of the acting, and with that I wouldn’t say its necessary to see in theaters but you won’t be disappointed 8/10
