So it's been a while since I've watched any kind of queer movie and this was honestly so refreshing. For once it wasn't about not being out to your family. For once it didn't show me my reality but what I could have if my parents were accepting. I know my parents won't be accepting if I bring any girl home I don't need to be reminded. No, this movie focuses on how important family is. Especially in relationships. They'll be there when you fall in love and they'll still be there when you're going through a divorce. AND ON TOP OF IT ALL this movie is one of the funniest I've seen. The humour feels real and not forced and auntie g is just iconic.
