The Bride Wore Red
"Do they never cry these trees of yours?"

"When it rains they cry into the mountain streams. And when it stops, the raindrops shine in the leaves. That's when they're most beautiful"

Wait, so you’re telling me Franchot Tone could actually be charming and not wooden and boring?? By now I have watched quite a few movies starring him and never liked him that much, he was forgettable. But now this movie made me look at him in a whole different light! Gotta check the rest of his filmography. His chemistry with Joan here was immaculate.
