My second favourite film about a dude who wants to fly like a bird.

poor lad was deteriorating before the war, and after all that shite his mind was just trying to protect him.
Nicolas Cage just monologuing the whole film, and Matthew Modine portraying a bird,  and you know, he did the portraying better than Cage did his monologues.
it got a bit boring at some segments, but the film has a nice flow once you catch it.
and the fucking ending, very strange, not what I thought it would be, but it’s alright, even happy, if you don’t think what could’ve happened next.

I honestly hoped I’d like this film more since it had young Matthew Modine and Nic Cage. They were both really good, but I thought the film overall was just okay, nothing special.
