Grumparus catches a teenager gooning outside his window, so naturally, a killing spree follows. Humorously, to me, he gains the moral high ground because the people he is chasing have the survival instincts of drunken dipshits. Being hungover may explain a lot, but it does not explain killing their pet dog and accidentally killing his wife. Preposterous stuff, but put together with enough craft to feel like a New Zealand version of Rituals.
