such an amazing movie, and as someone with a hearing disability my absolute favorite scene was the audiometry one, i do those since i was a toddler and seeing other people do it made me feel so seen because i always found it really weird. it’s quite silly because my disability isn’t that bad, but living in a world where you have a hard time comprehending people can be tough, and not being able to communicate with your girlfriend must have been so hard

“o mundo não foi feito para os surdos”
”eu não quero viver em outro mundo”
Falas que mesmo sendo feitas em momentos diferentes da trama se conectam. O longa te imerge na vida de uma mulher que está perdendo completamente a audição, mas que já levava uma vida semelhante à de um surdo. Gostei bastante a forma que colocam atenção para problemas e situações que, para a vida de ouvintes, são improváveis ou até inexistentes. O ser humano tem tendência a ter dificuldade em olhar por outra perspectiva, Todo o Silêncio te faz ter outro olhar.
