Fascinating, heartbreaking, infuriating, uncomfortable and entirely necessary viewing. I've read Dr. Kendi's books previously, including How to Be an Antiracist, and he's such a strong and eloquent and educated voice. It's horrifying that society doesn't seem to be progressing in the last 100 years, but it's not enough to just watch a movie like this, you need to take the lessons from it and work on being proactively antiracist.
The film itself is structured well, and uses animation to bring certain sections to life. The recreation sections didn't always work for me and took me out of it in places, but not enough to lesson the impact.
