my mom was watching this the other day and i kinda spaced out and thought she said it was tommy boy (1995) so i just stood there in confused silence for about six minutes wondering where the hell david spade was

I saw this in IMAX last night, one of the best theatre experiences I’ve had recently. Ken Russell is an absolute goat. Sooo many sequences in this had my mind exploding. Really fucking good direction with a lot of the camera movements. So many amazing frames. Amazing set and costume design. The soundtrack was so good. I went into this blind and didn’t even know it was a musical. Loved seeing this on such a big screen. This was my first good movie watch this month! #thankgod
