I love the atmosphere of this one. It perfectly channels the original Halloween's pacing and simplicity but leans into a more genuinely unsettling, spooky halloween aesthetic that I really liked!

Halloween 4 actually has one of the more intriguing stories. I was into the setup right away and it held my attention all the way through. The big downside though? Michael’s mask. I don’t know what happened with the design here but it looks terrible—it makes him come across more goofy than scary. Seriously, it feels like they grabbed it off Temu last minute.
What really carried the movie for me was the relationship between Jamie and Rachel. Their bond gave the story a surprising amount of heart, and Danielle Harris (Jamie) especially gave such an impressive performance for her age. She really sold the fear and emotion, which helped balance out some of the sillier parts of the movie. The ending also really threw me off—it was shocking and unexpected, but I’m not sure if I actually liked it or not. I just hope it has some kind of payoff as I move through the rest of this franchise.
That being said, I still had a fun time even with all my nitpicks. There are definitely some over-the-top moments where you can’t help but laugh—like Brady taking forever to load the gun while Michael casually strolls up the stairs, the truck scene where a random mannequin suddenly appears, or that ridiculous slow-mo shootout that makes Michael look like he’s in an action parody. Stuff like that knocks the movie down a peg, but overall I enjoyed it more than I expected. It’s flawed, messy, and unintentionally funny at times, but still a solid entry that I’d watch again.

achei divertido e bem reassistível, PORÉM... me desculpem, mas eu achei a máscara do Michael Myers muito feia nesse filme 👎 mas tirando isso, o filme cumpre todos os requisitos de um terror descente e eu colocaria ele numa lista de maratona de halloween.
inclusive tô chegando a conclusão de que gosto muito do Michael Myers como ícone slasher, eu sei que ele é simples, mas a simplicidade me fascina.

Halloween 4 is a quite messy but it’s got it’s strengths Jamie Lloyd is one of the better parts here even though I don’t like the idea of Micheal Myers coming after family members like Laurie.
The vibe is fun too it really does feels like Halloween and the ending was almost spot on. Extremely memorable, one of the best in the series.
But sadly there are some weak points, the production lets it down. I didn’t hate Micheal’s mask as much as most people but it’s still so poor and the scene where Micheal throws Dr loomis and the mask is completely incorrect is almost unforgivable AND the sound effects were awful. It’s a solid sequel but definitely flawed

Without a doubt, only the last 10 minutes were good, the rest was dog shit Rule number 1: Listen to the girl who screams every fifteen minutes she sees Michael Myers. Not recommended
