i always love me a crappy 2000s slasher <3

i just wish she wouldn’t have forgiven her awful boyfriend. she should’ve ended up with james mcavoy or been gay and ended up with carmen

also i was STRUGGLING to tell the difference between all the men in this movie. they all looked the damn same. it was james mcavoy and then like 6 guys that all looked like each other 

so when the killer was revealed i deadass could not remember which one it was

This was such a gag!

The characters are fun but also kind of annoying, which makes the kills even cooler. And boy, are they cool and inventive! There's some effectively suspenseful sequences, like the air vent scene. I'm really happy with our final trio because they were my favourite characters. It's not as meta as it's contemporaries, but the moments of genre-awareness we get are really good (e.g Sarah telling Greg that "I know what you did last summer"). It's more in the spirit of a cheesy 80s slasher, but with a modern edge, which was exactly what I was in the mood for tonight.

Also, Sarah reminded me of Slayyyter so much, and it made me think of how cool it would be if we got Slayyyter in a slasher flick!
