On a distant planet, descendants of a crashed spaceship are subjected to mysterious forces that cause them to age and die in just eight days. They must also live in caves to escape the bitter cold of night and the killing heat of day. One young boy is determined to find his way back to the ship that brought them there. 3.5/5My first short film, and what a strange way to start. Quest is an experimental film that explores how much meaning can be conveyed with almost no dialogue and a dark, unconventional atmosphere. The story is simple, but far from shallow. I found the central idea genuinely creative—a man who only has eight days to live trying to reach a world where people live for 20,000 days.The production is fairly low-budget, especially when it comes to the visual effects, but that never gets in the way. Instead, the film creates a unique atmosphere that feels both calming and unsettling at the same time. It keeps you engaged throughout its short runtime and rewards you with a thoughtful philosophical message at the end.If you enjoy unconventional aesthetics and are looking for a short film that’s relaxing, thought-provoking, and a little weird, I’d definitely recommend giving it a watch.

I love the visuals and the symbolic approach of age this film takes. No negatives but nothing insanely good, worth watching due to the short runtime and the fact its on youtube. Still dont understand why the hell there was an ape playing lazer chess.
