Good movie to pair with Dunkirk. I really like how it’s going for a wide range of stories from British high command, German air command, to the pilots they control and the progressing of the war. Maybe I’m just tired but the like the middle where it’s just escalating air raids and battles gets boring. This movies strength is following this wide range of characters and a lot of the battles are very similar looking. I wished the cast did more with its characters besides the married couple I’m not really sure what any of these other characters are about (besides Michael Caine’s dog). Effects look great and the regular flying bits look good just the fighting is very meh and dated looking. Good watch for WW2 nerds for a part of the war that doesn’t get much attention.
