The rollerball scenes were arguably the best part of the movie and there was just not enough of them. Would have loved to see more than like, three games, and more scenes with the whole team might have fleshed it out a bit more, and made the violence of Rollerball more impactful.
The ideas and themes were great, they just didn’t really go anywhere with them and I’m left with more questions than answers. More like no answers at all actually.
The concept was fantastic, but the execution just wasn’t as great as I had hoped. Good movie though, I did very much enjoy most of it, especially the games.
