Oh, lol, that was fucking amazing.
I definitely didn't need letterbox here to recognise that The Shadow Strays is from the same director as The Night Comes for Us, you can tell right away. 145 minutes in which the body count is driven to absurd heights. The movie also caters to my weakness for badass female leads, and she definitely earns that title here. And honestly the kills are really impressive, especially considering this is a Netflix production

IMO, film ini lebih berpotensi kalau alurnya berfokus dengan pembunuh bayaran. Scene Jepang itu keren bgt, kayak bukan nonton film indo. Tapi, dengan alur yg ini juga keren sih. Nomi nyawanya kayak infinity.

I like it as a great and brutal action flick, but it gets tough to look past the terrible direction of so much of the movie. It’s littered with plot points that serve no real point, gives zero explanation, and fight choreography moments that leave you scratching your head because it chooses to have these sort of super soldier assassins suddenly be Storm Troopers. It ruins the action on so many occasions for me.
