hate to hate a movie but gen might be the worst movie i've ever seen. so beyond stereotypical it's borderline offensive. the writing and sound is just awful the ENTIRE film. but the writing alone is just.... this movie feels like it was written on wattpad by a 12 y/o. though i think reading that would be more enjoyable than having to watch this film. not to mention this lisette char is genuinely the most insufferable + awful character i've ever seen in any movie. i acc dont think there's anything redeemable in general abut this film. hate to hate it but there's no other way i can describe how i feel abt this film........ 5 mins in and i alr wanted it to be over. can't believe we acc finished it 😭 just a total waste of my time. why can't there ever be any decent lesbian films🧍♀️ again i hate to hate for the ppl who made this film and all the ppl that were involved in its production but i gen can't help it 💔
tbf i think both me n louise were getting fed up looking through movies so we just picked this randomly. god knows why. i'm gonna just go through my watchlist from now on. no random watches in a while for me.😭😭😭😭😭😭
conclusion: this movies whole plot could've been an email + ofc it was directed by a man.
