Yuri is a high school student in the present day. She isn't happy with her life at home or school. One day, she has an argument with her mother and runs away from home. Somehow, when Yuri later opens her eyes, she realizes that she is in the year 1945. She happens to meet Akira. He is a pilot for a kamikaze unit in the military.

"To Yuri, I'm sorry, that was a lie, I loved you "
I get that this might be an anti war thing but it surely didn't stop me from crying, or the fact that this movie is very fast paced and barely shows the progress yet I still love this. imagine waking up in the past and knowing what's gonna happen in the future to the people going to war. That scene where Yuri and Akira was at the hill full of lilies. You can tell by his eyes that he never ever thought that she reminds him of his sister. The scene where Akira was departing to go to sink the ship, he brought lilies, kept it close to him beautifully tucked in his uniform, that scene truly made me burst into tears. At last, when Yuri went to that museum and saw the history abt the war, she remembered discovering the letters that were written and kept from any1 to see, oh boi I was bursting tears when the letters were revealed/ read , ugh that letter surely sealed the deal of me crying. This is my definition of right person, wrong time.
