My gripes with this documentary is Argentos career falls off a bit after the late 80s which i think they could've touched on rather it being just like 90+ mins of sheer cinematic glaze and i think for someone he is so renowned for his films each film is very quickly glossed over and not talked on enough or about the process and i think the way women are spoke about in this documentary is strange and dated in some aspects which was gross and annoying.
But this is a documentary that is filled with praise and respect and admiration of the horror and giallo artist that is Dario Argento and hearing people who are so passionate about his work and his legacy is so incredible and i do think Argento deserves every bit of it.
I will not stand for the fact they said he has no rival after saying carpenters name tho that’s diabolical although stylistically Argento films are pretty exclusive and unparalleled carpenter has sooooo many good films and has had as much influence on the genre as Argento himself.
