Donald Sutherland and Sean Connery head this fun, slower heist movie that, despite it having a few unnecessary subplots, was still able to produce plenty of good moments to keep me entertained and having a fun time. The two heading this were both a lot of fun I really enjoyed Lesley-Anne Down here too, maybe the most out of all of them, although I have a soft spot for Sutherland. It’s quite simple, there really aren’t any stakes so it’s not like I was on the edge of my seat or too into the story like I have been for similar movies. For what I didn’t like about the story, even though Wayne Sleep’s Clean Willy character was kind of funny it just felt completely useless to the story and I wasn’t too big a fan of Pierce’s romance either, it felt like they were trying to create stakes for the heist which just weren’t there. It’s lighthearted, funny, and doesn’t take itself too seriously, and for that I applaud it, it all came together and made for a very fun watch.
