Gloriously unhinged and outrageously funny, Slap Shot has some of the best uses of swearing I’ve ever seen in a movie! Almost every line that comes out of a character’s mouth is a curse word, an insult, or both. It goes without saying, but the Hanson Brothers are the GOATs of this. I just love the Star-Spangled Banner scene. Of course, the real standouts here are Paul Newman’s outfits! He is dressed to the 9s throughout and I want every outfit he wears, even the brown leather suit.

Glad my roommate showed me this, one of the most “Hell Yeah” movies ever (and Paul Newman’s personal favorite in his filmography, fun fact)
