jesus... the acting in this is crazyyyy, i dont even know how they can act so well, their oscars are so well deserved, i would've enjoyed it a bit more if things were more well explained but ultimately it is touching to know that this is a true story of a blind, deaf kid who felt so isolated and a teacher who is determined to help her to connect to the world through her other senses and not just knowing how to obey and i really like the line "obedience without understanding is also blindness" which is so impactful because the teacher really just wanted the best for her and always treating her like someone whom can see not a blind person and hence why she also taught how to communicate and wow the breakthrough scene was just so good... it really teaches the beauty and importance of language and if i was the teacher, i would've given up long ago
