Again not great, really frustrated at how stupid this one is. (More so than the last one even) all previous charm built from the last movie pretty much evaporates in this one, especially with the England plot (stupid btw). I am consistently annoyed at Sylvia’s character because she is so unbelievably selfish. She forced the three guys to take care of her baby for months while she went on with her career and then pops back in to finally be a mother, which is fine, but she consistently does not take into account that Peter, Micheal and Jack have basically become Mary’s fathers because of Sylvia’s absence. It’s so frustrating to see her make all the wrong decisions because she’s Mary’s apparent “one and only” parent, but Peter, Micheal and Jack are no less Mary’s parental figures! Peters outburst at Sylvia is fully fair, as he is also Mary’s father whether Sylvia likes it or not! Again, the French version is much better, and handles the issue with Mary’s mother in a much more mature, sensible way than this Americanised version.
