While Luffy and his crew of Zoro and Nami are starving on their small boat, they are attacked by a large monster. Nami is taken away, while Luffy and Zoro wash up on shore. There they meet a young girl, Medaka, and learn of the sad history of the island. The evil Pirate Ganzack has taken away all the men in the village and enslaved them, including Medaka's father. Now Luffy, Zoro, and Medaka must infiltrate Ganzack's base in order to rescue the villagers and Nami.

I had never even heard of this before until Oda kept taking about it during one of the earlier volumes in the series. With this releasing before the anime ever even began I couldn’t help but check it out and yeah it’s just as weird as you would expect hearing Luffy with a different voice… Mayumi Tanaka they will never replace you

Started my first official*** One Piece*** rewatch! All 1100+ episodes, 21 OVA’s, and 15 movies. 😮💨😮💨 Placing after episode 8, this is ok but it just a rehash of the plot points in the two prior episodes. Luffy is perpetually hungry, Zoro saves Luffy from drowning, Nami has a gun, all is well before the timeskip eye twitches Usopp introduced next episode! 👒🐯 💛💚
