I have seen this movie way more than twice. Felt like about time for a rewatch. It’s always a good day when you can rewatch something in your top 4

jane fonda is amazing naturally, but it would have been so so cool for a traditional western female lead movie to be more action-driven rather then kind of a silly comedy of a western. watching cat ballou run around committing crimes and just running wild would have been absolutely fantastic. as a result the story drags a tiny bit here and there. for a revenge story, you would think cat ballou would get to be much more of a badass, but she looked beautiful see here
opening with an animation, and then a musical number was so much fun, and i absolutely loved when nat king cole and stubby kaye got to narrate through song.
cat ballou i WOULD rob a train for you so fast you wouldn't even finish asking do not worry
