Peter sends a bottle rocket into space and tells his friend Thomas, to their surprise, the bottle goes to space. The film then follows their attempt to reclaim the bottle rocket to avoid federal prison.

Still just as good as the first time. I didn't realize how rushed it was though. I watched this at ny friends house, ive had such a good summer with her. She didn't understand it though, but she liked the colors and the outfits Don't have too much else to say, this is a goodie, very warm feeling movie.

I nearly forgot to write my review for this!
This movie wasn't a groundbreaking cinematic masterpiece or anything, but it was hilarious, the characters were very funny, and the entire movie was just charming.
I had such great time watching this, and couldn't stop smiling. The whole story so ludicrous but a little touching, I loved how bizzare acting/thinking dignan was (which almost seemed like a precursor to francis Whitman of the darjeeling limited) and the dynamic between all the characters. It's so funny to think that all 3 Wilson brothers were in this, I wonder what that experience was like. Speaking of, an acting debut for all 3 of them and Wes andersons directorial debut!!
This movie felt very warm, kinda nostalgic, and very whimsical and I very much enjoyed that and had a blast watching. Script was lovely and delivered very naturally (presumably becauseof how inexperienced they all were, but it worked well), music was lovely too. I'm not sure what's happened to me, but I'm becoming an actual wes anderson fan!
