Not my favorite Herzog, but really incredible

To start, like with many Herzog films, there are some amazing shots here. The acting is quite good as well; many of the Herzog films I have seen have pretty bad dubbing over otherwise good acting, but thankfully, that's not an issue here. This is a pretty interesting story as well, based on true events. I'm not too familiar with it, so I can't speak to its accuracy. The ending is quite memorable as well.

Not necessarily one I see myself coming back to, but if you are a fan of any other Herzog films or are considering getting into him, this one is worth checking out.

Hard not to draw parallels to the Elephant Man. The biopic is not my favorite structure in film, and Kaspar Hauser spent most of his life incapable of speech or thought so it’s amazing this is any good at all.
