Pastoral Symphony

A great premise that had a LOT of potential. I was hoping for a lot but, unfortunately, it falls flat in most areas. The idea of taking in a blind person and its merits and challenges is something that warranted my initial interests ; Especially during the times this film was based. And then you introduce the love triangle. All of that combined I had a great feeling about it. The writing lacked any authenticity making this feel like any other melodrama. The acting was questionable and somewhat disappointing. It hard a time keeping my attention. However, the metaphorical nature and message remain strong. The ending is the complete opposite. Everything is just taken up a few notches. There’s a particular quote (highlighted) that left completely empty. Great ending, not so great film.“Not everbody has the luck of being blind”
